At Aartaa Decor, a subsidiary of AARTAA FOOD INDUSTRIES PRIVATE LIMITED, we specialize in handcrafted luxury lighting and décor. Due to the premium and often customized nature of our products, our return and refund process is structured to ensure fairness, transparency, and product integrity.

By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.

2. Returns Eligibility

We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products under the following conditions:

  • The product must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition
  • Original packaging must be intact
  • Return request must be raised within 10 days of delivery
  • Valid proof of purchase is required

3. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Custom-made or bespoke lighting products
  • Made-to-order designs or modified specifications
  • Clearance or sale items
  • Products damaged due to misuse, improper installation, or handling

4. Return Methods

Customers may return products through:

  • Courier / Mail return
  • Drop-off at designated location
  • In-store return (Kolkata location)

5. Return Process

To initiate a return:

  1. Contact us within 14 days:
  2. Share:
    • Order ID
    • Product details
    • Reason for return
    • Photos (if defective/damaged)
  3. Upon approval:
    • Return instructions will be shared
    • Customer must ship the product securely

6. Return Shipping & Fees

  • Return shipping costs are borne by the customer
  • A restocking fee of 70% of the product value will be applied on non-defective returns
  • No restocking fee applies for:
    • Defective products
    • Incorrect items sent by us

7. Refunds

Once the returned product is received and inspected:

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

Important Notes:

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Refund timelines may vary depending on bank/payment gateway

8. Exchanges

We accept exchanges for eligible products:

  • Subject to stock availability
  • Process begins after receiving original item
  • For urgent cases, contact support directly

9. Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a damaged or incorrect item:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
  • Share clear photos/videos for verification

Resolution:

  • Free replacement (preferred)
  • Full refund if replacement unavailable

10. Order Cancellation

  • Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of placement for a full refund
  • After 24 hours:
    • Cancellation is subject to approval
    • Especially if production/shipping has started

11. Custom & Bespoke Orders

All customized or made-to-order products are:

  • Non-returnable
  • Non-refundable

Except in cases of:

  • Manufacturing defects
  • Transit damage
